The Regional Tourist Organisation of Three Rivers (Lokalna Organizacja Turystyczna Trzech Rzek)

We, Lokalna Organizacja Turystyczna Trzech Rzek, functioning as a part of the Partnership in the Valley of Three Rivers, wish to invite all the tourism and country tourism lovers to visit our area.
Here, in the place where the beds of three rivers (Vistula, Narew and Wkra) unite, the nature has created perfect conditions for both active and leisure family tourism.
The Great Areas of Kampinos Forest and Zegrze Reservoir as well as the picturesque location of the Modlin Fortress attract an increasing number of tourists here every year.
The new hotels as well as country tourism facilities are springing up everywhere.
The wide areas of Kampinos are conducive to building new bike routes, developing horse tourism and cross-skiing.

This is an offer to be considered not only for a couple of days, but also for a longer stay. Despite Warsaw being located nearby, the country tourism offer makes it possible to find harmony and peace in the family atmosphere.

Tasks and Purposes

The main purposes of the Regional Tourist Organization of the Three Rivers include building and promoting the mutual tourist offer of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and the areas surrounding the town, which would expand the local market of the services connected with tourism. Along with the entities dealing with tourism we wish to create an information basis for a tourist offer of our region, which would enable more people to get information about our beautiful and interesting areas.

The Organisation wishes to create and promote the positive as well as encouraging image of the mentioned areas by e.g. creating the tourist information desks (Local Information Centres), publishing a guide of the neighbouring towns and villages, participating in domestic as well as international tourist trade fairs and organizing the studio visits. Because of the lack of the LOTTR Tourist Information desks functioning within the area, the already mentioned Local Information Centres will be created in the nearest future. The Centres will be located in places freely accessible both for the local inhabitants and for the visitors. Their opening hours will be neutral which will enable everybody to come and see their offer.

The Organisation along with the Local Information Centres will also support the already functioning and newly-created subjects of the third sector, including especially the companies running a business connected with tourism. That shows that apart from informing about tourist offer our purposes include improving the level of practical skills regarding creating and running a business by the subjects of the third sector. As a part of this task, we are planning to organize various trainings and workshops.

We hope that the result of the foregoing activities will include the development of the tourist and recreational offer of our region, which will equal to a higher number of tourists wanting to spend a holiday here.

The Purposes of the Organization include the following tasks:

  1. Supporting the tourist development in our region.
  2. Building a positive and attractive image of our region.
  3. Promoting tourism of the Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki region.
  4. Launching, expressing opinions and supporting the plans regarding the development and modernization of the tourist infrastructure.
  5. Launching and performing social as well as economic activities aiming at achieving the higher importance of tourism in the development of the region.
  6. Conducting staff trainings in the areas of planning and completing the mutual tourist enterprises of the region.
  7. Conducting marketing research in the field of tourism and analysing their results.
  8. Launching and co-creating the tourist products of the region.
  9. Providing the region with the tourist information and developing the local information systems.
  10. Promoting and taking up activities aiming at the protection of the natural and cultural environment of the region.
  11. Supporting and taking care of the already existing entities of the tourist sector.
  12. Advising, organizing workshops, trainings and studio trips as well as administering financial support to the subject of the third sector, especially those operating within the tourism sector.
  13. Launching and supporting co-operation with foreign subjects operating within the tourist sector.
  14. Launching and supporting the participation of volunteers in all the organization enterprises.
  15. Creating and administering of the Local Information Fair whose aims would include e.g. conducting promoting and informing activities regarding tourism on the area of Local Information Centres.

The organisation fulfils its task by:

  1. Creating and managing the Office of the organization in order to administer, organize and conduct development programs of the local tourist economy.
  2. Managing the tourist information desks.
  3. Taking up educational, training and publishing activity.
  4. Conducting promotional campaign regarding tourism as well as various events and all possible activities regarding marketing and promotion and organizing exhibitions on the domestic and international trade fairs.
  5. Organizing study tours.
  6. Co-operating with the government administration bodies, Polish Tourist Organization, local government administration organs and non-governmental organizations active in the field of tourism.
  7. Designing yearly calendars of tourist events.
